A good friend of mine notes that while nobody ever _declares_ a Sev0 incident, one of the most notable signals you're in a Sev0 incident is when lawyers who have no reason to be there and nothing to add start joining incident calls so that whatever is said in those calls is now sheltered by attorney-client privilege.

@brouhaha Wait a month, lose something unimportant on your desk, and when you search for it you might find the USB drive.
"Moms for Liberty" is one of the most vicious of the far-right extremist groups.
Trump, seeing kindred souls, gave his usual litany of lies and rancid threats in an appearance at their meeting.
Journalism noted a couple of the most outrageous statements.
And that was that.
The real outrage was that this is now considered somewhat normal.
Yeah, there’s a problem. These are just the U.S. beaches reported in the past week. Sorry, no, that’s not quite right. These are just the breaches reported in the US in the past week *that impacted more than 100k individuals*. #databreach
GOP officials in Nebraska shutter voting registration for people with past felony convictions and attempt to reimpose lifetime disenfranchisement. “There’s just so many ways in which the criminal legal system dehumanizes people." https://boltsmag.org/nebraska-voting-rights-restoration/
People are being enslaved in U.S. prisons. Read their letters. Explore this new online archive. This is a testament to the courageous resilience of the 800,000 incarcerated workers forced to labor and a record of the continuation of slavery in the U.S. https://letters.endtheexception.com/

If you want me to talk and never shut up, ask me about how a piano works! (The problem: finger pressure powers a hammer so it strikes strings, but the hammer must be free-pivoting (not coupled to finger) at the moment of the strike, and must then stop on the recoil without bouncing and not strike again until the finger releases from the key, at which point the hammer must be ready to strike again ASAP. No electricity allowed.)
Someone shared with me a really innovative site for presenting info on #Project2025. You choose what "I care about" from a drop-down list, click "Show me," and then the website describes how P25 will impact that area -- including PAGE NUMBERS from the actual document. Y'all know what to do.

In the media that doesn’t have wealthy execs who directly benefit from a Trump presidency by screwing over workers, the problem I see is treating Harris’ campaign like an actual normal political campaign, whilst treating Trump with the scrutiny held for entertainment news. It is a big ethical problem.
Treat them both with the rigor expected of a political campaign with policies and expectations of competency and dignity.
