On of my close friends died a year ago due to heart problems, at age 48. I didn't know his mother very well before that, but I'd gotten to know her better since his passing. She was very nice to me, and I tried to help her with computer stuff since her son no longer could. I just now got the news that she has died. My first concern after the initial shock was that her cat is taken care of, and fortunately that has been handled.
